“It’s the most wonderful time of the year,” right? I love the holiday season, but it can be a little wild, can’t it? For many people, the holidays seem to jump start in October with more gatherings and Halloween. After that the rest of the year seems to explode with parties and functions until you look up and it’s a new year!
After the swirl of cookie exchanges and a party here, and a party there, sometimes we look back down at the scales and notice the number is higher than when the holidays began! Has that happened to you? Sometimes in the swirl of schedules and fun we just sort of say “oh well, it’s the holidays” and just let it happen. But then sometimes we are intentional and really try to manage things more closely, but then we still see those extra pounds.
What if I told you you can eat all your favorite things this holiday season and not end up with an extra 5-10lbs by January? And what if I told you that you could achieve that without adding more stress to your holidays?
I want to share with you some of the key ways you can approach this holiday season so that it’s your best yet! I’ve walked with people through the holiday seasons and want to give you the inside scoop on what’s most helpful! We’re gonna zoom out just a little bit from the details of holiday foods to take a look at some of the strategies that can help anyone, no matter the holiday, no matter the foods around you, no matter what it looks like!
